2010 Chocolate Queen Contest

We are thrilled to have you join the fun and festivities of the international award-winning, annual chocolate extravaganza. This is the place to indulge your love of all things chocolate! You have the opportunity to experience a taste of sweet royalty by participating in the Chocolate Fest as a Chocolate Queen Contestant. No bathing suit competition, no talent show! All you need is a love for kids, an ability to appeal to your friends, co-workers and family for a worthwhile donation, and a desire to make an impact in our community. Why be a Paradise Chocolate Queen Contestant? • “The Paradise Chocolate Fest is dedicated to benefit non-profit youth organizations in our unique and charming community through the celebration of chocolate.” • Your support will make the difference in the lives of countless youth, their families and our community. • Fun, camaraderie, team work, new friends, and lots and lots of laughter. • Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!!! How to Be a Paradise Chocolate Queen Contestant: • Complete the Queen Application. • Return the application to: Chocolate Fest “Queen Mum”, Sherry Swim. PIP Printing – c/o Chocolate Fest Queen Contest, 597-B Pearson Rd. - Paradise, CA 95969 • Once your application is approved, you can start gathering votes right away. • One Dollar=One Vote, May 3rd is the deadline for gathering “votes”. • Create a simple or grand chocolate-themed hat. Deadline for hats: January 15th, 2010 (so that you are ready for pictures!) • Have your picture taken in your hat by Jeri Luce at the Paradise Post (530) 877-4413. • Secure a community (business or organization) sponsor - $500 donation. Agree to raise a minimum of $1,000 in support of the 2010 Paradise Chocolate Fest. • Availability May 1st-May 8th - to attend Chocolate Fest Events. And additional community events TBA – during your “race for the crown”! • If needed, ask us for ideas to start getting donations. • We can provide Paradise Chocolate Fest speakers to present to groups for you.
